Join us on Saturday, September 28 as we welcome Ken Overberg, SJ.
Ken grew up in the west side of Cincinnati, attending St. Aloysius Gonzaga parish and St. Xavier High School. He joined the Jesuits in 1962, eventually earning degrees in philosophy and theology (PhD in religious/social ethics is from the University of Southern California). He taught theology at Xavier University in Cincinnati for more than 40 years. He has published numerous articles and books on theological ethics, a number of which have received awards from the Catholic Press Association. He is now sacramental minister for the Franciscan Sisters in Oldenburg, IN (sisters from this community taught him in grade school).
