Center Offerings
St. Walburg Monastery, located on a hill in Northern Kentucky, overlooks the Ohio River. From this place of natural beauty the Benedictine Sisters extend hospitality to all guests seeking peace and a rediscovery of the sacred in life. Sharing the wisdom of the Catholic Church and the Benedictine tradition, the community provides time and space for prayer and silence. We offer a variety of opportunities for those who seek a deeper relationship with God and a renewed sense of mission.
The Center of Spirituality is pleased to announce our spring speaker. Mark your calendars for the morning of Saturday, September 28, 2024 when Ken Overberg, SJ will be here to speak on “Global Crises and the Consistent Ethic of Life.” Puzzled or concerned about the Fall elections? Join us on September 28.
Ken Overberg is a Jesuit priest who taught theology at Xavier University for more than 40 years. He has also published numerous books and articles on social ethics and on questions of God and suffering. He is now sacramental minister for the Franciscan Sisters of Oldenburg (who taught him in grade school) and has been celebrating Eucharist here at St Walburg since before Covid!
